The art of surviving the Church of Sweden - Helena Edlund
She is the pastor who was banned by the church, after calling for solidarity with persecuted Christians. In "The Art of Surviving the Church of Sweden", Helena Edlund, after twelve years as a priest, gives her picture of a lost church that has got rid of its old identity.
The Virtue of Nationalism - Yoram Hazony
The Jewish Bible gave us nationalism! Dr. Yoram Hazony is an Israeli philosopher, biblical scholar, political theorist and one of Israel's most prominent thinkers. He has written in The Wall St. Journal, The New York Times and many other newspapers. His previous book, "The Philosophy of Hebrew Scripture," was published by Cambridge, and his book later this year, "The Virtue of Nationalism," is said to be the most important book on the subject for an entire generation.
No other gods - Per Arne Imsen
People have always had a religious need that cannot be ignored. That realization made Christianity the state religion in the Roman Empire. The reason was that something was needed to hold together a fragmented culture and a kingdom that was falling apart. Today the world is shaking and the same solution has been found, to use religion as cement to create peace. It is said that all beliefs are right and are different paths to the same god. Here Jesus is not "the Way", but rather "in the way", therefore another Jesus is introduced - a founder of a religion alongside others. At the same time, another movement is growing around the world. In China, a worker stands with raised hands and prays for his country. It is 5 o'clock in the morning. In a bathtub in North Africa stands an imam who has been baptized into Christ. Tears are flowing. In a home in Cuba, a congregation gathers who is not allowed to build a church. In its newly built huge "living room". This underground movement represents millions and it started already in the Roman Empire. Outside the state church, a forbidden congregation emerged that clung to the name of Jesus. NO OTHER GODS is a revolutionary journey through times, kingdoms and cultures where we follow the struggle for the church's god-given identity and people's way of preserving or distorting it throughout history. To understand this development, we need to go back to the beginning.
The Lie That Wouldn't Die: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion - Hadassa Ben-Itto
Of all the libels that have served as a means of incitement of hate against Jews, and as intellectual justification of anti-Semitism, the myth of the so-called 'Jewish Conspiracy' to gain dominance of the whole world, as embodied in the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion, is probably the most devious and the most dangerous. Previously only analyzed in academic, footnoted studies, the history of the Protocols is presented here by Judge Hadassa Ben-Itto in an eminently readable, fascinating account, telling the stories of the numerous people involved over the hundred years that the forgery has existed. Above all, this is the story of a judge who follows the Protocols into lawyers' chambers and into courtrooms in Switzerland, in South Africa, in Germany, in the United States and in Russia, and presents the reader with a detailed critical analysis of legal proceedings which culminated in fascinating courtroom drama. The truth is revealed again and again, but the lie wouldn't die.
The Great Whore: Who is she? - Lars Enarson
As early as 2006, Lars Enarson sounded the alarm about the new ecumenism under the heading "Rome or Jerusalem!" He was ridiculed for "twaddle" that Ulf Ekman would convert to Catholicism. Not a single Christian profile agreed. "We have full confidence in Ulf's new line," they said. Lars Enarson's warnings affected the blog Aletheia and it is possible that the blog was the only concrete reason why Ekman did not get the whole faith movement even further on the train to Rome. Twelve years after the book was published, the congregation in Sweden has not yet come to terms with what has happened. The book remains up-to-date - a prophetic voice for this time - which not only warns, but also shows the church's way forward.
Voices needed to be heard in Sweden.
In Sweden often only mainstream opinions are heard. In the videos below, Sverige714 wants to introduce voices that (even if we do not agree with everything that is said) need to be heard in Sweden.
